Harvest Community Guidelines
Last updated: December 29, 2025
Harvest is built for intentional connection. These guidelines exist to keep the community safe, respectful, and real. By using Harvest, you agree to follow these rules in your profile, messages, photos, and behavior on and off the app when it connects to your Harvest activity.
If you see something that violates these guidelines, report it. If you feel unsafe, prioritize your safety first and contact local emergency services.
The Core Rules
Be respectful
Treat people like people. Harassment, bullying, humiliation, or cruelty is not allowed, even “as a joke.”
Not allowed:
Insults, name-calling, shaming, or degrading comments
Threats or intimidation
Repeated unwanted contact after someone says “no” or sets a boundary
Sexual harassment, crude sexual comments, or pressuring language
2. Be honest and authentic
Harvest is for real humans connecting with real humans.
Not allowed:
Impersonation (using someone else’s photos or pretending to be someone you’re not)
Misrepresenting key details to manipulate someone (identity, relationship status, intentions)
Fake profiles, bot activity, or coordinated spam
3. Consent and boundaries are non-negotiable
Consent must be clear. Pressure is not consent.
Not allowed:
Sexual coercion, guilt-tripping, or repeated boundary pushing
“Send pics” pressure, especially after refusal
Any attempt to obtain sexual content through manipulation or threats
4. Keep it safe
We don’t allow behavior that puts people at risk.
Not allowed:
Encouraging self-harm, violence, or dangerous behavior
Instructions or encouragement to commit wrongdoing
Threats of doxxing, blackmail, or revenge
Prohibited content and behavior
Harassment, hate, and discrimination
Not allowed:
Hate speech, slurs, or dehumanizing language
Discrimination or hostility based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, or other protected characteristics
Content supporting extremist or violent ideologies
Sexual content and nudity
Harvest is not a porn platform.
Not allowed:
Nudity or explicit sexual content in photos, bio, or messages
Sex-for-money arrangements, escorting, “sugar” solicitation, or transactional sex requests
Graphic sexual language directed at someone who hasn’t consented to that tone
Allowed (with respect):
Non-explicit, consensual flirting
Relationship intention discussions
Mature topics handled appropriately
Minors and exploitation
Not allowed:
Any sexual content involving minors (including “barely legal” framing)
Any attempt to contact, groom, or exploit minors
Content that sexualizes young people in any way
If we suspect someone is under 18, we may restrict or remove the account.
Scams, fraud, and financial exploitation
Not allowed:
Asking for money, gifts, crypto, “help with rent,” or “emergency funds”
Requests to move to another platform quickly to avoid moderation
Links or messages designed to steal personal info (phishing)
Investment pitches, “business opportunities,” or recruiting schemes
If you want to share your social media, do it slowly and safely, and never under pressure.
Privacy violations and doxxing
Not allowed:
Sharing someone’s private info without consent (phone number, address, workplace, full name, identifying screenshots)
Posting private conversations publicly (including in your profile) to shame or retaliate
Threatening to expose someone
Violence, threats, and intimidation
Not allowed:
Threats of harm, sexual violence, or coercion
Content celebrating violence or encouraging harm
Weapon/violence content used to intimidate others
Spam and platform misuse
Not allowed:

Creating multiple accounts to evade bans or reports
Illegal activity
Not allowed:
Selling or facilitating illegal goods or services
Encouraging criminal behavior
Content that violates applicable laws
Profile and photo standards
What we want
Clear, recent photos that represent you
A profile that reflects genuine intentions and basic respect
Honesty about what you’re looking for (dating, relationship, marriage, etc.)
Not allowed in photos or profile content
Nudity or explicit sexual content
Hate symbols or extremist imagery
Violence intended to intimidate
Contact info in your bio or photos if you’re using it to solicit off-platform quickly
We may remove content or request edits to keep profiles safe and consistent
Moving off-platform
You can choose to move off-platform, but it must be mutual and pressure-free.
Not allowed:
Pressuring someone to share contact info
Refusing to talk unless they leave the app
Manipulating someone into leaving the app quickly
We strongly recommend:
Keep early conversations on Harvest
Meet in public places
Tell a friend where you’re going
Trust your instincts and leave if something feels off
Reporting and enforcement
How we handle reports
When you report a user or message, our team reviews the information available. We may:
Remove content
Issue a warning
Restrict features (messaging, discovery, etc.)
Temporarily suspend an account
Permanently remove an account
For serious safety issues, we may preserve relevant information and cooperate with lawful requests.
Appeals
If you believe your account or content was removed incorrectly, you can contact support and request a review.
AI and conversation tools
If Harvest offers tools like Mindful Messaging or an AI Coach, those features are meant to support healthier communication, not shame users.
Not allowed:
Using AI tools to harass, threaten, or generate abusive content
Trying to bypass safety features to send harmful messages
You control your choices. If you don’t want certain conversation supports, you can adjust settings (where available).
Quick “if you’re unsure” checklist
Report it if someone:
Threatens you, insults you, or won’t respect “no”
Pressures you for sexual content or contact info
Asks for money or tries to move you off-platform immediately
Seems fake, inconsistent, or evasive about identity
Makes you feel unsafe
