Intentional dating shouldn’t be about quick wins or temporary excitement. Like a real harvest, great relationships take time, intention, and care. We chose the name because Harvest is about planting the seeds of connection and growing something lasting.

Dr. Christine Davila built Harvest after experiencing the worst of modern dating — explicit messages, manipulation, and endless games — while still believing in the possibility of real love. She wasn’t alone: 82.6% of young adults report negative emotional consequences from hookup culture, ranging from regret to decreased self-respect. What began as a late-night joke about building a “red-flag detector” app grew into a movement for safer, more mindful, and more intentional dating.

Harvest is the app where attraction meets intention. Instead of endless swiping and shallow chats, Harvest helps you grow authentic, values-driven connections. With mindful AI-driven features like Mindful Match and The Gardener (your interactive relationship coach), Harvest transforms intentional dating into a journey of chemistry, growth, and lasting connection.

Most apps stop at attraction and casual messaging. Harvest starts with it — then helps you cultivate something deeper. Research shows that 64% of online daters want committed relationships, yet most platforms still prioritize hookup culture. Harvest was designed as the alternative: a space for intentional dating that supports people who want real, lasting connections.

Our AI-powered Mindful Match tool uses simple, research-based questions to identify your core values and relational strengths. Those values appear on your profile, making it easy to see what truly matters — and to connect with people who align with you beyond first impressions. On the back end, Harvest also uses these values to recommend potential top matches, so you’re not just swiping randomly — you’re being guided toward people who share your vision for authentic connection.

The Gardener is your interactive dating and connection-building relationship coach — powered by generative AI — designed for full, meaningful conversations. You can talk with The Gardener just like you would with a trusted coach. It’s supportive, encouraging, and reflective, but it also keeps things honest when it comes to advice.

Unlike tools that flatter or give disconnected suggestions, The Gardener is grounded in intentional values. It won’t simply tell you what you want to hear, and it won’t offer advice that feels random or out of place. Instead, it helps you reflect on patterns, debrief after tough conversations, and stay aligned with your deeper goals for intentional dating.

And if you’d like, you can also invite The Gardener to walk through your in-app conversations with you. Together, you can reflect on whether someone feels like a good fit — or if it may be healthier to move on and un-match. With daily reflections, questionnaires, and steady guidance, The Gardener is there to support your journey whenever you choose to reach out.

With a focus on dating safety, Mindful Messaging helps keep conversations respectful and intentional. Studies show that 78% of Gen Z users report burnout or fatigue from online dating, and that 46% of users overall describe negative experiences. Mindful Messaging is Harvest’s response. If a harmful message appears, it’s blurred, and the sender is prompted to pause. You decide whether to block, delete, or continue. This safeguard is optional and can be turned off in each chat if you prefer, so you always see and experience what feels right for you.

Yes and no. You’ll still swipe to match — but Harvest adds a values-driven layer. Instead of just choosing based on looks, you’ll see the qualities and values that matter most, making your matches more meaningful. With so many users actively seeking long-term relationships, Harvest helps to grow the connections that align with your deeper goals.

Online dating safety is a key focus of the Harvest app. With Mindful Messaging, blurred harmful content, and tools for reporting or unmatching, your intentional dating journey is supported. Harvest also includes a toggle system: personal information can’t be exchanged until both people choose to turn it on. This way, you only share details when you feel ready — and only with someone who feels the same.

This matters because the impact of unsafe or unwanted interactions is real: a meta-review found that over 85% of studies on online dating report negative impacts on body image, and nearly half connect app use to negative effects on mental health. Harvest helps reduce that impact by giving you more choice, more protection, and more peace of mind. View our Community Guidelines to learn more.

Yes, your personal information and values data are stored securely and used only to improve match recommendations and the in-app experience. We never sell your private data to advertisers and take every measure possible to protect your privacy.

Harvest is for people who want authentic, intentional relationships. Surveys show that the majority of online daters are hoping for long-term commitment — and while we cannot directly control or predict the future, Harvest exists to grow long-lasting relationship connections based on real life values. No scammers allowed!

Harvest is out now. Download it free from the App Store or Google Play.

The Harvest app offers a free version with all core features. Premium upgrades (coming soon) will unlock enhanced coaching, deeper insights, and advanced compatibility tools.

After downloading Harvest, you’ll be guided through a simple setup: upload photos, write a short bio, and answer Mindful Match questions that highlight your relationship values. These values appear on your profile and help guide compatibility.

You’ll browse profiles with the familiar swipe motion — swipe right on someone you’re interested in, left if not. When both people swipe right, it’s a match.

You can start messaging immediately. If you’d like extra guidance, you can ask The Gardener (your interactive relationship coach) for ideas on how to start the conversation or how to keep it intentional.

Messages work like most apps, but with Harvest’s Mindful Messaging safeguard in place. Harmful or explicit messages are blurred, and both users are encouraged to keep conversations respectful. You control how much you see and turn the feature on or off per chat.

Un-matching is easy — and always in your control. You can un-match at any time by going to the profile or chat screen and selecting “Unmatch.” If you’d like, you can also ask The Gardener to walk through the conversation with you to help decide whether it’s best to continue or let go.

Harvest includes a built-in toggle feature for exchanging personal details (like phone numbers or social media). Personal information cannot be shared until both people switch their toggles on. This ensures sharing only happens when both feel comfortable.

Yes. Every safety and support feature — from Mindful Messaging to The Gardener — is optional and user-controlled. You decide how to use Harvest in a way that feels most supportive to you.

The Gardener is always available for support — whether you need advice on how to message, reassurance after a tough chat, or help reflecting on whether a match aligns with your values. And if you need technical help, you can reach Harvest’s support team through the app’s settings.
